In the summer of 2021, the Town of Midland implemented a new parking system for parking spaces downtown and in all municipal parking lots. The new system is a "pay-by-plate" system, meaning when you pay at the parking machine you enter your license plate number and then continue on your way or, using the mobile app, scan the QR code at the machine or on parking signs throughout municipal lots and continue on your way. No need to go back to your car to put a ticket on the dash!

The new machines offer convenient options for payment. Coins, debit (must have tap function) & credit card, Apple Pay & Google Pay will all be accepted.

Parking permits can now be obtained using the Interactive Parking Access Subscriber System (IPASS). The IPASS system allows users to register for permits on a monthly or annual basis: $30/month or $99/year.
